Kindergarten Readiness & Enhancement Group
Kindergarten is a big leap and sometimes children need extra help learning how to calm their emotions and tame their wiggles so they can focus and settle into their day. In this group, your little one will have the opportunity to practice managing big emotions, making friends, and communicating their wants and needs in a safe, fun environment.
Kool Kidz Socialization & Regulation Group
This group is designed to help children practice initiating and maintaining conversations, making and keeping friends, working together with peers to solve problems, advocating for themselves, and regulating emotions.
Emotion Regulators Group
As a middle schooler, your child is yearning to become part of a peer group. Unfortunately, overwhelming emotions can get in the way with anxiety topping the list. This group will help your child learn how to manage intense emotions so they can feel more comfortable at school and in social situations.
Teens on a Mission for Balanced Living Group
This group is designed to empower teens to use skills and techniques for regulating emotions, managing social anxiety, improving interpersonal communication, and tolerating stressful situations. With the right tools and strategies, your teen will achieve an emotionally balanced life with improved self-esteem.
Young Adults Living with Neurodivergence, and Social Anxiety Group
Social anxiety and overwhelming emotions continue to affect your life into adulthood. This group teaches skills and strategies for recognizing triggers, regulating emotions, improving social communication, tolerating stressful situations, and improving self-esteem.
Adult Couples Living with ADHD, Autism, or Neurodivergence Group
Maintaining a healthy relationship can be difficult, because it is not as easy as it looks. This group will help to strengthen your relationship by improving communication and enhancing trust to connect on a deeper level. Mommy/Daddy & Me Group
Join other families to receive in-the-moment parent coaching while engaging in fun activities with your child. You will learn parenting strategies proven to work with children who have unique needs, and your child will be able to practice social skills with other children while you are nearby.

Telehealth Appointments
We understand that life can be busy and it is not always easy to make iit to in-person therapy sessions. Telehealth appointments are available so you can connect with Tamara from the comfort of your own home in a secure, private platform. Telehealth therapy appointments are not recommended for children under the age of 13.
Group Counseling
Group therapy can be a powerful way to connect with others who are going through similar challenges. Our group therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive environment where you can share your experiences and learn from others. We offer a variety of group therapy services to meet your needs.
COUPLES COUNSELING FOR PARTNERS LIVING WITH NEURODIVERGENCE
Tamara will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets your unique needs. You will learn to nurture your strengths and use practical coping skills to manage overwhelming emotions, connect with others to develop lasting relationships, and improve self-esteem so you can start living the life you are meant to have.
All individual, family, group, and couples sessions integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for challenging/reframing negative and unhelpful thought patterns as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide skills for regulating emotions, decreasing symptoms, and tolerating difficult emotions/situations. Coping strategies and life skills are incorporated into each appointment to help improve functioning and quality of life.
Family counseling provides in-session parent coaching. Groups are available for kindergartners to young adults. Parenting groups include strategies proven to help children make positive choices to avoid negative consequences.
All services require an intake appointment prior to starting and groups require registration in advance. No waiting list. Evenings/Saturday appointments available.
Building Bridges Group for Parents of Adult Children with Autism, ADHD, or Neurodivergence
This group is designed to nurture a healthy collaboration between parents and their adult children. Receive in-the-moment parent coaching and strategies proven to help your adult child make healthy decisions to avoid negative consequences. Your adult child will also have the opportunity to practice social skills with peers while you look on.
E² TWICE EXCEPTIONAL GROUPS
E² Twice Exceptional Skill-Building Groups Ages 6-25
The name, “E² (E squared) Twice Exceptional” is derived from the term “twice exceptional” which refers to gifted and talented individuals who have some type of neurodivergence such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, OCD, and social anxiety. This group focuses on harnessing strengths and utilizing skills to:
- Regulate the nervous system to decrease outbursts, meltdowns, or shutting down
- Tolerate overwhelming emotions
- Improve distress tolerance
- Manage social anxiety
- Enhance socialization and improve interpersonal communication (conversation starters, making/keeping friends, reading social cues, etc.)

- Groups are divided by age and developmental levels. Day camps are also available during school breaks and summer vacations.
Parenting Groups
Parenting skills and therapeutic support groups cover a wide array of topics including but not limited to:
- Parenting strategies that are proven to work with children who have unique needs related to autism spectrum disorder
- Managing the fight, flight, freeze response that causes meltdowns and/or shutting down
- Coping strategies and skills to manage difficult emotions and stressful situations
- Recognizing and expressing emotions
- Validating your child’s thoughts and feelings without giving in to their tantrums or arguing
- Decreasing verbal and/or physical aggression
- Recognizing and respecting boundaries
- Improving socialization and communication skills
- Improving your child’s self-esteem
