Tamara is a licensed social worker/psychotherapist with over 10 years experience working with children, young adults, and families affected by autism, Asperger's, ADHD, neurodiversity, sensory processing disorders, anxiety, depression, problems focusing, difficulty regulating emotions, aggression, social anxiety, school avoidance, meltdowns, and shutting down. Tamara has raised two children with ADHD and autism who are now an engineer and a college student. She understands professionally and personally about the complexities and challenges related to extreme social anxiety, low self-esteem, sensory overload, feeling out of control, and difficulty relating to peers. Tamara can help with identifying strengths and talents as well as learning skills to manage symptoms, improve self-esteem, and enhance every-day functioning. Individual, family, and group counseling is available. Parenting groups are available to provide support and proven parenting strategies.
